Cork 300 [+2] Regatta – Join the team

Hard to imagine that COVID-19 would hit the world and have so much impact on peoples lives. So many people were directly affected and our thoughts are with you. Understandably the Cork 300 was postponed until this year 2022 with the 300th[+2] anniversary. With vaccines and medical development, the world is in a lot better position to allow more travel and a lot more sailing.

If you are interested in sailing in the Cork 300 [+2] regatta in Ireland as part of and Australian crew, the 300th [+2] anniversary of the oldest yacht club in the world is the time to do it. Further details: Race week is locked in for July 2022

Races are locked in for Cork Week 2022 11th– 15th July 2022, with trial race and team shake down from Kinsale.

Planning: Book your arrival on the 9th July in Cork. Between the arrival time and race start, there will be shake down sail. Plan to be leaving on 17th from the accommodation to travel or return home.

A trial race is typically held the day before actual racing begins.

Kinsale to the Crosshaven and the Cork yacht club is about 33km which is a 3 hour sail @ 5 knots but depending on conditions, a harbour shake down may be appropriate.
